Replacing the toilet seat is easy |
|
Picture of Old Toilet Seat - I think this one is 20 +
years old |
Unscrew the nuts located at the underside at the back
near the tank end |
 |
 |
|
Remove the old seat |
Take the new seat |
 |
 |
|
Place it in position, and place the new bolts through
the holes, and tighten the nuts |
A New look - Definitely an improvement |
 |
 |
|
Even nicer still with its brand new cover - Now
if only I could do something about those tiles.... mmmmmmm... give me
some time. I'll think of something(lol) |

This would make such a unique gift,
Make the toilet seat cover, be "Prince Charming" and go and shop for a
new Toilet Seat,
Fitting the cover to the "Cinderella" seats in the shop, and then
purchase the new toilet seat you like best.
Visit the recipient of your gift, and present them with their brand new
Toilet Seat and Unique cover made by you.
Of course if you feel comfortable enough, you can always visit their
bathroom,
and in the process replace their existing seat with the new one, fit
your cover, and present them with their new look bathroom (lol).
It will be the topic of conversation for years to come (lol)
Of course this also means that you can keep on making new covers each
year as gifts, depicting the season or whatever their or your theme is.
The Throne of your home deserves a new quilted lid cover, and if you
really want to spoil yourself, buy a new toilet seat too. |
