1) Placement line

Unhoop

Place fur over placement line, then place *plastic
wrap* over fur

Hoop this combination

Now place / *typing
paper* / *tissue paper*
on top and stitch the next step

You can then easily tear the *typing
paper* / *tissue paper*
away

Trim all excess fur on top and fabric at the back
(under hoop) (Do not unhoop)

before stitching the *satin edge* put a piece of tissue paper over
the plastic wrap, otherwise what happens is the presser foot snags the
plastic and tears it. The tissue paper allows the presser foot to glide
over the plastic wrap very easily and, because it's so thin, it just
slips right off after stitching. Don’t ask how
I know about the plastic snagging ....... LoL !!!!!! ......... we always
learn these things the hard way !
I *unhooped* on this project, when I placed the fur and the plastic
wrap, because I wanted the plastic wrap to be as tight as possible over
the fur to hold it down while I was working on it. The fur tends to be
quite bulky and then you get the *snagging* of the plastic wrap by your
presser foot, thus the reason also for the typing or tissue paper.
Normally, I wouldn’t un-hoop in the middle of a project but in this
case, as long as you do it carefully it works well.
