Here are a couple of pics of my scalloped edge placemats ..... I made
these reversible using everyday kitchen type designs from Designs by
Ruth (Chef Soup; Chef Ladle; Salt and Pepper) on one side and more
Christmas like designs from Sew-N-2-U Designs (Apple Bouquet; Holly
Swag, Berry Bundle and Holly Wreath). I'm so pleased
with how this
project turned out and will be making more real soon :)
I used a 50/50 cotton/poly bed sheet, did all the stitching, assembled
as per your instructions,
and then washed them - warm wash/cold rinse. Then I decided to dry them
in the dryer to see how they would turn out as, once I give these to my
Son, that's the way he will be washing them.
I think they turned out perfectly - these pics are taken right out of
the dryer without ironing.
